BLAZING on that Summer Solstice...
Hello friends!
It was another day and night of school life...
Yesterday, at this time of posting, we prepared for the Torch Night '07. Our CompSci mates were so much busy about studies that we are almost not prepared for the event, literally.
I finally found my binder notebook through Karen San Pablo (my CompSci mate) through a habal-habal driver. I don't know if he found it on the road, and how did he know CompSci freshies like Karen and me. Thank God for that habal-habal driver. :-) I can finally take more notes and study. ;-)
That evening, we crammed a lot on our performance before the Torch Night. Everyone was truly prepared except us, who were so busy about studies. <:-( Last-minute preparations were the only thing we can do.
During the Torch Night, a non-academic event in UP Min, there were music, dance, parlour games, deafening screams, and the smell of food (and tobacco *sighs*) from all the 'Greek-lettered' (plus Latagaw-Lamdag :-\) society's booths.
Anyways, we were the first to perform. Our performance was quite not what it should be that most of the up-class people almost shouted 'Uwian na!..." :-/ What a 'humiliation'. However, the upperclassmen of our course (whom the Second Year studes won the competition last year as freshies) were congratulating us for doing our job. They understood our academic situations (that our schedules from different blocs are not the same). Better luck for the next freshies in CompSci.
The other courses performed excellently. But those who shined were the BA Communication Arts and BS Applied Mathematics, all won the 2nd and 1st prize, respectively. I am very glad for them. :-)
Another day has ended again. Tomorrow another school day and weekend will come.
God Bless You. Have a nice day.
KENNETH
P.S. Don't forget the BIRTHDAY WEEK as we witness the countdown to my 16th Birthday on June 29, 2007! See you next week!
