MY BIRTHDAY IS DAYS AWAY!
Another birthday will come...and it will be mine.
Another time to celebrate.
Another time to enjoy.
Another time to thank.
Another time to express.
Another time to share.
Another time to have a new life.
It's just another birthday on the 29th of June.
Last Friday, I sniffled on the ending of Maria Flordeluna. I just can't believe that it ended with the death of Flor. :'-( Here's the episode guide of that final, 92nd episode from ABS-CBN.com:
Mamita gets shot, and tells Jo and Flor to run and leave her behind, as she will only keep them. As such, the two are left with no choice but to run, but they end up getting cornered by Retired General torres and held at gunpoint!
However, Reneboy and Wilma, along with Leo, arrive just in time for a confrontation! Gary also arrives at the scene, and gunshots are exchanged between Gary and Torres! The two end up with wounds, and fall on the ground, and Leo runs to secure his whole family! Mamita also arrives, and Wilma runs to her! However, Torres won't go down without a fight, and aims his gun at Leo's family! Flor sees this and runs towards him to hopefully block the shot. Wilma senses this also, and she runs to Flor's aid as well! They successfully block Torres' last attempt at Leo's family, but both end up falling to the ground, causing severe wounds in their heads! During the whole commotion, Gary leaves, and eventually plans his escape from the country!
Wilma and Flor are then rushed to the hospital, and much to everyone's relief, the doctor tells them that the fall didn't cause that much damage to their brains, and that the two girls will be conscious in four hours! As such, Reneboy plans a joyous celebration for the two, while Mamita asks for forgiveness both from Jo and Leo! She receives it readily from the kind couple, but says that she has to submit herself to the authorities so that her life will make a turn for the better!
Retired General Torres end up in chains as well, while Gary plans to flee the country! Soon, Wilma wakes up, but Flor remains unconscious! The doctor then breaks the heavy news: Leo can opt for the life support system to keep Flor alive, or they can keep her from it so that they won't prolong her suffering any longer.
Soon, everybody dreams of Flor: starting from Gary, to Mamita, to Reneboy and Wilma, up to Jo and Leo! As if Flor was saying goodbye, her whole family wakes up in tears and shock! Soon, Flor dies, much ot their sorrow! At the wake, they say their parting words, while Flor finally is reunited with her deceased mother, Elvira in paradise! Gary then decides to turn hismelf in, and tells Leo that he wants to change for the better. Soon, Jo gives birth to a baby girl, whom they name Maria Flordeluna!
(*sniffle*)Flor was really kind-hearted. :-) Though Flor died, her family was reunited and became happier than ever.
Not the usual, ordinary ending that the bida (protagonist) lives. But still "happily ever after...THE END" :-)
Another school week is here back here in UP Min. Another week of fun and surprises in the world of academics and non-academics. :-)
