This month of August, my blog, A Stellar Life, is proud to present:

ASL: Proudly Davao! Guest Posting Contest

In celebration of Davao City's Kadayawan Festival, this contest is open for Davao bloggers who are just starting to blog, or, have a blog but has little exposure on the blogosphere. These people are invited to Guest Post on this blog so they can have the exposure they need to get going and get blogging more.

Here are the instructions:

The post that will be submitted should contain at least 500 words and should be in form of an article about anything about Davao City - a specific street, a specific landmark, city life, growing up in Davao City, etc.
  1. Leave a comment ON THIS POST (i.e., not on the CBox) with the following information: Your name; your blog's name; your blog's URL; and your home address (make sure you are from Davao City, or grew up in Davao City). Additional info can be provided: date of first blog post published (not earlier than January 2008); your blog's Google PageRank, Entrecard link (if any), etc. Make sure you entered your e-mail address on the comment form for confirmation.
  2. As soon as a confirmation e-mail is recieved, you may now submit your article through the provided e-mail address of the author. The subject should be the blog post's title.
  3. The post will be displayed on this blog and be subjected to minor editing for clarity. The blog posts submitted will become the author's own.
  4. The blog posts submitted to ASL will be judged according to its overall content, coherence and impact from other bloggers who may comment on the post submitted.
  5. The entry with the best article wins the following:
  • Feature your post on this blog.
  • A 125X125 "Proudly a Stellar Davao Blogger" badge
  • A link to your blog
  • An Entrecard Account package plus 100 Entrecard Credits if you don't have an Entrecard Account or 50 Entrecard Credits if you have an Entrecard Account, and,
  • A referral to the Davao Blogs Directory.
Submission of entries is from August 4 to August 16, 2008.
