Dear guys and gals... It has been a great week....maybe not quite... 'cause the Bible quiz was "too bad for my brain". Monday: yeah... so the "traditional" Assembly goes on... blah...blah... but after that... It's Review Time for our Bible Quiz! :-) Well, it was nice hanging out (of classes) for a single day. (Hey! I was excused!) We discussed about the Pentateuch, the first 5 books of the Old Testament. There we discussed about Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his sons. Well... it was tiring...indeed. Tuesday: well... duh! Still outside classes... but had a stint on Physics class. Reviews were killing my brain... (are we having stress, Ken?) Wednesday: Still... the same story.... Thursday: Here... a bad thing happened... (I had to attend classes the whole day! (said Teacher Miamor, one of our coaches)) At the 1st period, we practiced our song for the Juniors in the JS Prom in February. There was I, still tired and still full of things mixing-up in my brain. (Due t

Dearie Fwends... The week was SUPER EXCITING! Monday was a regular assembly day... Then, we had a dry run of the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE). Quite boring... During English time, I can't get enough of making note cards... Tuesday, things went out ok... well, quite... for the NCAE... (English researching was a headache! Filipino, too!) Wednesday, the NCAE has been made... Well, the NCAE was just like the UP College Admission Test, but it doesn't have the "you-can't-go-to college-without-passing" manner. Instead, the results will just remind you on what college course you could apply. In my part, the test was quite easy... just got confused on Math. :-) We finished the test early. The proctors were amazed. :-D Thursday, it's a busy day. I prepared a lot for the big day, the Chinese Elocution Contest. I was really worn out after that day... (I can't concentrate on my projects!) But, before I left CDSI, I was approached by Teacher Miamor Mar

Dear friends, It was a rather "snapshot" week... Monday, we had our first assembly for the year 2007. Good thing nothing bad had happened. :-) In our English time, we started with our project, a mini-thesis. I thought of a topic Tuesday, we had our first part of the yearbook pictorial. I felt great when I wore my toga and took a picture. :-) Well, during the candid pictorial, I did a daring pose - astig , I should say. :-P Wednesday, nothing unusual... Thursday, we have the next part of the yearbook pictorial, the class picture. Just OK... Friday, we had the pictorial of school clubs and orgs. Anyways, we also had the 3rd Reading of Honors. Thank God I made it to the Top 5. I thougt that I could be a possible member of the Honor Roll during our Graduation. :-) So, that's all for now. See you tomorrow for a complete entry. KENNETH

Dear guys... I'm back to school! Well, CDSI was still in shape during my comeback, and still is. In the last 3 days (yes, it includes today, Saturday!), I had some jumpstarts because our teachers were making thing so we could help ourselves lift our grades so we could graduate. It's the fourth quarter of our school year and we should do things quick. Well, things were A-OK. Nothing bad happened. Currently, I'm making major decisions on reformatting this blog and promoting this. I'd like you to put suggestions... (please, Ms. Tina, give me suggestions!) So, won't you be part of my group? Dear friends, It's the last day of the vacation and I don't want to spoil the moment. On the night of December 31st, we had a very special Media Noche (New Year's Eve dinner). Many dishes were served, courtesy of my mother. Well, before the year ended, we had a post-Christmas Kris Kringle (gift-giving). It was really fun. There my mother put some luck in the house that night by serving 13 kinds of round fruits, scattering coins around the house, giving hong bao (red envelopes containing money, according to Chinese tradition), and lots more. When the clock struck 12:00 a.m., we jumped for joy and welcomed the year 2007. There we continued our enjoyment. By 1:30 a.m., we slept for the sunrise ahead. The day of January 1 was very monotonous. Chores here, chores there. Invites here, invites there. (There were quite a number of visitors at that time.) But that night, we watched the film "Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo", a Metro Manila Film Festival entry starring Judy An

It's now January 2007 and, therefore, let's kick off the year with some whole new forecasts from my sign, Cancer. All forecasts are from MSN Astrology January 2007 Cancer, be ready for the unexpected during the first week of the month. You'll need to let go of your need to be conservative so that you can try new things. Be open to creative ideas with promise. With the Full Moon in your sign midweek, you may be overly emotional and sensitive. On Sunday, January 7, you can concentrate fully and productively on work or a hobby if you remove distractions. The Moon in Virgo on January 8 and 9 will encourage you to be more efficient and pay attention to detail. By Wednesday, January 10, though, you may have too many other temptations to get your work done properly. You'll be more focused on January 13 and 14 and it would be a good time to do some research. On Tuesday, January 16, an emphasis in Capricorn will bring a good work ethic and ambition. You may have to put in a few
