This year, I'll join my mom in celebrating the Simbang Gabi, a 9-day eucharistic activity before the start of Christmas. Yes, this is very hard for me personally since I've been on hiatus from the Lord of the Harvest (LTH) Christian Community since April, and I've been on a faith crisis since I left the leadership of LTH. Yes, I missed those days being with LTH, and I only meet my church fellows at school or whenever I bump with them. "Kumusta," one leader asked me, "dugay na ta wa' nagkita..." I kept silent of the reasons why I went off with attending services at LTH. I don't know if leaving LTH was a good reason. I don't know if leaving the G12 system was a good reason. I felt it was quite a very stupid decision to make since many have left G12 churches because the system is rigid and bureaucratic. My parents condemn Christian churches, because they allege them of getting too much from its members. But I don't think all of them

Dear friends, It's another two days here in UP Mindanao . It's back to school again last January 3, in line with the public elementary and high schools in the country. (UP is also a public school... kuno ...) I wonder why this "hang-over" during the long Christmas season got unto us Filipinos every after the end. (And Epiphany or the so-called "Three Kings", the official end of the long Christmas season here, is yet to be this Sunday, January 6!) Most of the kids didn't attend school that day, maybe not of this case in UPMin... (*sigh*) Anyway, this is what happened during the first 3-1/2 days of the New Year: We went to Panabo and Carmen , our parents' home towns to pay a visit to our relatives - our grandparents, our uncles and aunts and our cousins. Dear friends, It's almost Christmas and it's the last week of classes for the year 2007 here in UP Mindanao. It was another time to answer examinations, and this week, all my major subjects had their First Long Examination! Gosh, I've studied very well for this! During the MATH26 examination last Tuesday, I was still too overwhelmed by my colds (It was RAINING HARD the whole day)...and I can't concentrate well. So, I was not very confident enough with my answers on solving the worded problems, especially the problem about solving the distance on a point from a suspension bridge through the parabolic form of hanging cables between its towers... :-s During the CMSC11 examination last Wednesday, I was far too worried on my other classes that will come that day (SSP3, MST2) that I did much cramming for that examinations.
