Start of Something New...

Image
I've been thinking lately about my blogs. This is what I'm planning to do: 1. In this blog, A Stellar Weblog , I plan to put reviews and more..., like Ate Tina's Espresso Break . I would make it as a "segment". I plan to name it "See-Lip" because you have to 'see' and you use your 'lips' (in your mind, for instance) to "voice-out" your expressions in a particular movie, TV show, or publication (books, magazines, etc.). Therefore you come up with a word that sounds like the Tagalog word " silip ", which means "to peek through". :-) 2. My private blog, My Private Talks , looks somewhat nasty because of its posts. I think that posting offensive words could ruin my life (naturally...) But who cares? >:-( 3. My Friendster blog, A Stellar Friend , is still in need of improvement. I'll think of posting tags to my Friendster friends to value their prescence. :-D More of my plans in the following posts.

Thy Will Be Done...

Dear readers, It's too much! My Papa won't understand why did I make this blog. Am I feeding too much information to the Net? Doesn't he understand what a "blog", "weblog" or "online journal" is? Doesn't he understand how most blogs look like? Are they only contain news, reviews, and literaries? Papa, MY BLOG IS ABOUT EXPRESSION , but I know it's too much. I should not let you down. I understand. Anyways, in my last post, I said that I may enter into UP in Mindanao . That word meant it is not sure , really. I have some matters to worry about, especially in the financial side. I applied for their Socialized Tuition & Financial Assitance Program (STFAP). I'm worried that if I am not granted this, I would not be entering UP again. I will be then in Holy Cross of Davao College. Not bad for them; it's OK for me, too. I plan to enter into Communication Arts, Mass Communication or BSEd- English in this institution, perhaps. If it

SPECIAL eXclusive!: My Blog Series is Way Too Personal

PARENTAL ADVISORY THIS BLOG SERIES MAY CONTAIN EXPLICIT CONTENT From Go-Quiz.com Yes, this blog series may REALLY contain explicit content... In my last post in Diary Plus ! , my father told me about this blog series of mine and asked me about how to register to Blogger. However, just yesterday, at this time of posting, my father (and now, my mother), reminded me of the sensitive contents found in my blogs. They told me that my blogs were good-looking, but some of its entries were "backstabbing". I tend to hit people with my words. For instance, I tend to let down of myself when I say " I feel down because 'I fought with someone again' or 'I had confrontations with this particular person'" I made gossips about certain persons who weren't nice at me. I could even share certain things that I shouldn't really share - at all. Now, I have decided to REALLY CHANGE EVERYTHING! I plan to alter some content on this blog. I have made private the Diary

Memories of CDSI: The Campus

Hello! I am now a fresh graduate of Colegio de San Ignacio. Now, I have to live up to a new chapter in this life of mine...college. But I still think the memory of my Alma Mater would never leave my heart and mind. This institution really moulded me to someone I am now - a true person, an upright person. I want to share these photos with you. This is the original building of Colegio de San Ignacio, still standing strong for over 10 years. This is where I stayed during my elementary days. Here I was developed into a student ready to face many challenges life would bring. Here I lived up to Ignatian spirituality, being maka-Diyos, makatao at makakalikasan. These were my final classrooms in CdSI, the IV-Saint Augustine room and the IV-Saint Benedict room, located in the High School building. Here, we, the Batch 2007, shared a common connection, a connection far stronger than the strongest chain the Earth could make. Here, I learned numerous things. Here, I learned how to love my batchmat

Notes from the Author: A Final Decision...

Hi there! It's a new week, guys! Easter has passed. Thank the Son of God, Jesus Christ, for He is Alive! During the Holy Week, my uncle, Donatillo Porio (we call him Uncle Dodz (pronounced /doodz/), visited Davao City to reserve places for his wedding on August (am I right?). He now works at a Korean company in Cebu. There, he has a big salary (not to mention the bonuses.) He brought along with him some luggage, his laptop and pasalubong. (He gave us Pastel (a popular pastry from Camiguin), Otap (a popular Cebuano snack), some drinks, bulad nga pusit (dried cuttlefish), and a pack of spicy Korean noodles. (I tried them and it is really SPICY! You can't really taste the flavour indicated in the pack (for instance, Seafood), just the blazingly hot-sour taste.)) My parents, who were very close to him during his stay in the city on his college days, talked about certain matters, including my college course. There he then talked about his successes during his good stint in his pr

In the Horoscope

Again, another horoscope forecast this April, but now, from another source, Astrology.com Since I don't have much time, I'll just show you my Cancer forecast. Dear Kenneth, The month of April brings important astrological transits that will strongly influence all of us -- perfect timing for those with spring cleaning in mind! To start off, partnerships are in the spotlight with a harmonious full Moon in Libra on April 2. This bodes well for all kinds of relationships and major socializing -- so get thee to that club, bar or disco, stat! On April 5, expansive Jupiter turns retrograde in loyal Sagittarius. Jupiter rules our potential for growth and positive development, and when it goes retrograde, this potential can be impeded, and a 'sure thing' may no longer be apparent. Your energy flow is apt to turn inward as well, making this a great time for introspection, observation and reviewing plans. Don't forget to reexamine any core beliefs; you may find flaws in old wa
