Dearie friends, This is a repost of Renz Bulseco's post . It was a Friendster bulletin of one of Renzy's friends. (Happy Anniversary to your blog pala , Renzy! :-D ) Anong student number mo? 2007-***** (Can't tell...for security reasons) Anong first choice course mo? My first choice course/degree program I wrote in UP's Form 1 (UPCAT Application Form) was BA English in UP Mindanao. Second choice mo? BS Computer Science, UP Mindanao (*My second choice campus is UP Visayas-Cebu. I chose BS Psychology (Hello, Sir Raffy Sanchez!).) Anong course mo ngayon? BS Computer Science in UP Mindanao (I just love InfoTech!) Nag-shift ka ba? Nope. I love CompSci! It's great to be an I.T. Isko! Naka Dorm ka ba? Yup. I have stayed in UP Min's Elias B. Lopez Dormitory. Gusto mo bang mag-Dorm? Definitely yes. It's because it practices my discipline. Living in EBL means a lot of discipline and a strong spirit to overcome odds: clogged toilets, water interruptions, busted electri...

A Piece of Relief

Dear Friends, It's the final week of classes in UP Mindanao. I am still scared to blog these days because I have lots of debts in my ILC/LRC Account. :-( I recently paid PHP 500.00 just to ease up my debts. From my savings and some generosity from my uncle (who came in our home in Davao for his wedding last Friday (09-21-2007)) and from CDSI through my works in the Chinese Department, I still have quite a number of money fit to survive the last 3 days of classes for the semester. I am here to make my print works and do this blog post (*sighs*) and make minor changes in my social networks. This is what I will do the last in ILC/LRC before I will go back to my suki Internet café back in Buhangin to do such works and finally touch a PC back at home (soon...). Anyways, my last (and final) class will be MST3 on Thursday (09-27-2007), 05:30 pm-07:00 pm. After that, I will attempt to go back home. I will try to attend the Teachers' Day Celebration at CDSI on Friday (09-28-2007). (Whe...

Shifting?

Dear friends, It's another day of adventure in UP Mindanao. Yesterday, we had a interesting lesson in AH3. It was about Nonverbal Communication. I learned that the eyes, physical appearance, touching, gestures, clothing and a lot others affect what we communicate to others. In MATH17, Ma'am Mayang discussed with us about Solving Linear Equations using Matrices. (flashback: Sir Ramil taught us about this System! Oh, what could go wrong if you did study at CDSI?) In SSP4, we discussed about Prof. Myfel Paluga's paper about the " Pakikingatngat, Pagbubunganga, at Pagkagat sa Meron ". We realised that we should make a stand on making a theory. We should not be too shallow or too deep in applying historical contexts to our theories. ~*~ Tap this Crazy Drunk Guy over here to stop sober himself and be intoxicated for the rest of his life so he could blabber and blog... Ate Tina could need some smiles to lighten up while in her thesis. (Good luck, Ate!) BS Bio guy Char...

Dear friends, Ate Kakay Carreon of BA Anthropology answered my invites in my social networks. (However, she invited me to be her Multiply contact.) Thanks a lot, Ate ! Keep visiting! Sir Raffy Jones Sanchez accepted my invite to be his Friendster and Multiply contact. Ma'am May Anne Mata accepted my Friendster invite, too. Let me quote Sir Raffy's blog entry about his teaching experience in another institution, Ateneo de Davao University, where he teaches Psychology. "...Now, as a teacher, I strive to be as painstakingly patient as my teachers had been. I am driven by one intention in mind: to transfer my learning and inspire students... my students in this class could afford to display such arrogant behavior of putting up a solid face while failing to read the assigned readings; and, apparently unsatified with such a mediocrity, they could even afford to exhibit the misdemeanor of disregarding the teacher. In the middle of the lesson, they chose to fool around...and i...

On the Eve of My Birthday...

Image
Dear friends, Today's the eve of my 16th birthday. I am very excited of the people who will greet me on this special event of my life. :-) A while ago, we joined in the whole UP Mindanao community and the 11th RCPG in planting trees to make a natural perimeter fencing of the UP Min campus. This is also to help preserve the natural resources in the area. A contract will be produced, to be given to each one of us people of the UP Min community, to prove that we will take care of the saplings and make these last for many generations of iskolar ng bayan to come. ~*~ At MATH17 class, Ma'am May Anne Mata discussed about our 2nd Problem Set, which was about Polynomials. Many were quite confused but then understood more after Ma'am Mayang taught more of the lesson. :-) Our 2nd Long Examination will be on Tuesday. Note: I Googled her and found her super-cool Friendster account (nyahahaha) , her news about being Cum Laude in UP Min, etc. Check it out, yo! B-) ~*~ At SSP4 class, S...
