CNN.com posted an article about " The 12 most annoying types of Facebookers " which is about types of Facebook users who become an annoyance, and NetworkWorld via BusinessWeek posted " 12 Words You Can Never Say in the Office " which is about the 12 tech terms that are becoming obsolete. Being a Facebook and Twitter user, with a sense of knowing what's in and what's out in the tech world, I took the interest to dig in. I have never met Prof. Severo Bastian Jr, a professor and chief of the Biological Sciences and Environmental Studies Department of the College of Science & Mathematics. He was regarded as a comical, fun mentor to his students. But he remains a part of this great community in UP Mindanao. Calculus in more than two variables, and multiple-variable statistics, have been my keen interest while I'm still taking a respite from pure Mathematics majors in UP. A Computer Science major subject I will take eventually (CMSC150: Numerical Symbolic Computations) focuses in numeric computational methods in Computer Science like Numerical Differentiation and Integration, Finite Series, and the like. I also wanted to take a higher Mathematics major, MATH120 (Linear Algebra). I want to explore knowledge in vector fields, linear maps and systems of linear equations - in an advanced manner. I am already formulating my plans for my Special Problem (a modification of the Thesis) when I am allowed to present.
