Hello! I've been having an interest in OS-tans , a Japanese meme which depicts personifications of operating systems, especially in the Windows family. While I'm not an otaku for Japanese anime culture, I got the interest of OS-tans because I am learning the Japanese language, and I am sick of being bored yet in love for my customized Windows XP SP3. So I searched for something interesting about Windows, and I came across a OS-tan of Windows 7. So I studied and came across a collection of OS-tans from the Windows family, to the Apple line, and to the Linux distributions. See the collection here . I have always had a high regard for University of the Philippines ' (UP) students and UP graduates, as I believe they have one of the best curriculum, professors and students amongst the universities here in the Philippines. Here in Davao, there are a few admirable universities producing top quality IT engineers (CS, IT, IM, CoE, ECE, etc.) every year. But the fact that majority...
In today's current economic situation, many of this year's UPCAT passers would shun off the opportunity to study in the National University , the University of the Philippines . With the tuition fees that skyrocketed since 2007, it has been a struggle for the poor but deserving students to enter the University. With the continuing reduction of the education budget by the past and present government, the University's population has slowly becoming from those who are well-to-do and deserving. GMA News TV's State of The Nation files a report about a UPCAT passer who desired to enter UP Diliman, but unable to enter due to insufficient funds.
&lt;p&gt;This page requires a higher version browser&lt;/p&gt;
For the latest Philippine news stories and videos, visit GMANews.TV This is a wake-up call to all University students to see the reality that many po...
