"define:meme"
Dear guys,
Ate Tina and others within the blog network has this word in the blogging jargon... "Meme".
I googled "define:meme", and the definitions are here below:
an idea, project, statement or even a question that is posted by one blog and responded to by other blogs. Although the term encompasses much of the natural flow of communication in the Blogosphere, there are active bloggers and blog sites that are dedicated to the creation of memes on a regular basis
www.fzelders.nl/weblog/
A unit of cultural information that represents a basic idea that can be transferred from one individual to another, and subjected to MUTATION, CROSSOVER, and ADAPTATION.
www.agsm.edu.au/~bobm/teaching/SimSS/glossary.html
viral encapsulated idea, with built-in feedback loop.
www.awaredesign.co.nz/glossary.html
As defined by Richard Dawkins in The Selfish Gene (1976): "a unit of cultural transmission, or a unit of imitation." "Examples of memes are tunes, ideas, catch-phrases, clothes fashions, ways of making pots or of building arches. Just as genes propagate themselves in the gene pool by leaping from body to body via sperms or eggs, so memes propagate themselves in the meme pool by leaping from brain to brain via a process which, in the broad sense, can be called imitation. ...
www.silcom.com/~barnowl/chain-letter/glossary.htm
Richard Dawkins’s 1976 coinage, on the analogy to gene (with a little aid from mime and mimic), for a cultural copying unit, such as the word or melody that is mimicked by others.

(et cetera...)
Well, the first definition above had the biggest relevance. Oh, ganun pala ang kahulugan sa "meme".
I am now know about memes are made. But I still have to know how to make a good meme.
Help naman dyan, mga readers.
