Shifting?

Dear friends,

It's another day of adventure in UP Mindanao.

Yesterday, we had a interesting lesson in AH3. It was about Nonverbal Communication. I learned that the eyes, physical appearance, touching, gestures, clothing and a lot others affect what we communicate to others. In MATH17, Ma'am Mayang discussed with us about Solving Linear Equations using Matrices. (flashback: Sir Ramil taught us about this System! Oh, what could go wrong if you did study at CDSI?) In SSP4, we discussed about Prof. Myfel Paluga's paper about the "Pakikingatngat, Pagbubunganga, at Pagkagat sa Meron". We realised that we should make a stand on making a theory. We should not be too shallow or too deep in applying historical contexts to our theories.

Tap this Crazy Drunk Guy over here to stop sober himself and be intoxicated for the rest of his life so he could blabber and blog...

Ate Tina could need some smiles to lighten up while in her thesis. (Good luck, Ate!)

BS Bio guy Charlie Wonka, Jr. could need some more carbs in making his wacky chocolatey bites. :-)

Hmm... what is really the major course for me? Read on...

You scored as French/Spanish/OtherLanguage

You should strongly consider majoring (or minoring) in a foreign language, especially French or Spanish as they have a greater use in today's world. But other languages could be useful to you as well, such as Chinese, Japanese, German, Italian, or many others. With a major in a foreign language you could teach, or work for a company as a translator or foreign correspondant.

It is possible that the best major for you is your 2nd, 3rd, or even 5th listed category, so be sure to consider ALL majors in your OTHER high scoring categories (below). You may score high in a category you didnt think you would--it is possible that a great major for you is something you once dismissed as not for you. The right major for you will be something 1) you love and enjoy and 2) are really great at it.

Consider adding a minor or double majoring to make yourself standout and to combine your interests. A minor in a foriegn language is useful for ANY major. Also, business or political science are great minors for a foreign language major.

See? I'm really fit for BA Communication Arts. I can join Kombuyahan's Litok division or shift to BACA. But, shifting is not yet a good idea for me. If I'm lucky in BS Computer Science, I may use my knowledge in foreign languages to incorporate in my programming. I can apply Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters in my programming in HTML or somehow in Visual C++ (However, as far as I know, UP Min uses Turbo C++, a DOS-based app.). (All the characters of these languages have their own hexadecimal code, i.e. Base 16 numerals. (oh so Math...))

Anyways, it's the MATH17 exams. Can't wait to fuel my mind!

See you around! :-)
