Otaku for the OS-tan

Hello! I've been having an interest in OS-tans , a Japanese meme which depicts personifications of operating systems, especially in the Windows family. While I'm not an otaku for Japanese anime culture, I got the interest of OS-tans because I am learning the Japanese language, and I am sick of being bored yet in love for my customized Windows XP SP3. So I searched for something interesting about Windows, and I came across a OS-tan of Windows 7. So I studied and came across a collection of OS-tans from the Windows family, to the Apple line, and to the Linux distributions. See the collection here . I subscribed to Dell's YouTube page and came across a number of videos which gave me interest. One is implementing Ubuntu Linux 8.04 in their Inspiron Mini 9. I dared to ask this question in my mind: “Will I be a person who will be remembered a lot here in UP?” To that, Rumi “answers” through a line of one of his poems: “Fall into his hands and you will weep like a cloud; Run from him and you will freeze over like snow.” While pondering upon Rumi's “answer”, I thought if I became too proud of myself lately. I became too selfish and self-centered. I did not care if I ruined the pride of my family, my friends – my whole circle of life. I began to catch a realization that the pronoun him refers to my God. I ran away from God and turned to my own way of showing myself that I am a student of UP, without recognizing my relationship to him. These days I feel so cold about my relationship to God, to my family and friends. I feel so empty inside that I am not really enjoying my growth as a person and as a part of the society. Many Roman Catholics become fanatic about statues of the Virgin Mary whenever one of them showed signs of "crying" or "weeping". Mary statues which bears some sort of "tears" of "water" or even "blood" make some very, very scared about what is happening. Many would say this sign indicates that the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, is "crying for the people of the earth" because of their "sins." She "cries bitterly" because mankind has not been kind to God. Skeptic scientists would refute this reason and point out that it is just some degradation of the material used in constructing these images of the Blessed Virgin. They say that the resins that bind the image's eyes were just naturally weathered. Or some would point to some water source that dripped into these statues.
