Another Year Has Passed...

The year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Seven, is beginning to pass by... and another year has been made history.


I wanna list down some memorable experiences I had gone through this year, here goes:
  • I had experienced our batch's last JS Promenade at the Filipinas Ballroom, Grand Regal Hotel (sounds familiar, huh?).
  • I experienced an encouraging Retreat at the MIC Cursillo House.
  • I graduated in Colegio de San Ignacio with flying colours. (with all the awards...)
  • My batchmates and I had a great time in our outing together at LaRous Beach Resort in Talomo.
  • I helped as one of the staff of our yearbook, Ignatians 2007 (It released during our Foundation Day.)
  • I had my visit to Mati, Davao Oriental, for the first time during the Grand Reunion of the Porio Clan. (Mati has really nice beaches!)
  • I recieved my award for winning First Place at the Davao Pilipino-Chinese Women's Association's Chinese Academic Contest.
  • My blog had became 1 year-old.
  • A new chapter of my life came to fore at the University of the Philippines - Mindanao...
    • I am part of the BS Computer Science degree program.
    • I am one of many UP studes carrying the New Tution and Other Fees.
    • I am one of many UP studes covered by the new alphabetized Socialized Tuition and Financial Assistance Program.
    • I am one of many who are enduring life at the Elias B. Lopez Dorm.
    • I am one who is helping the University Student Council as a VOLUNTEER.
    • I am one who spent too much time and money at the ILC/LRC.
    • I am one of the people who cheered for BSCS at DULA.
    • I am one of few who encountered the simple and the complicated of subjects

    • I am one of many who raised hands to praise God.
    • I am one who made a change in my self...even though its price is a complicated one...
  • I had a great time remembering the days of my Alma Mater, CdSI. (although I was not present during Foundation Day)
  • I tried to control emotions...now I am doing it back at home...
In conclusion, 2007 was a great year. I am praying that 2008 will be a great one.

As an advocate of Media and Information Literacy (MIL), I am very much knowledgeable of the effects of having to deal with fake news, disinformation, and other forms of manipulation of media and information in our society.
