Before I could explain, I think my last post was just about it; plans don't come in a snap, in my case. :-)

A story of a young girl, Maria Flordeluna, that captivated the hearts of the Cebuanos in the '70s. She is a meek and kind-hearted girl who loses her mother at a young age. Her life changes drastically. Her father decides to marry his old girlfriend. The little girl and her brother find themselves trying to get along with their new family—stepmom, stepsister, and a stepgrandmother. Things take a turn for the worse when the little girl's new family starts maltreating her. Based on a radio drama, which made into a mini-TV drama on RPN-9, it is now re-serialised for TV on ABS-CBN, aired during their primetime block, Primetime Bida.

YES, things got worse...and WEIRD! Whenever the step-grandma (Brigida, Liza Lorena) or step-sis (Wilma, Kristel Fulgar) is face-to-face with Maria Flordeluna (Pineda) and Reneboy (Aguas), the "heat" intensifies. Whenever Flor gets a beating or any kind of maltreating of some sort, I, watching the show at home, got to say this statement (in my mind) whenever the credits roll...

"Sakit sa heart, uy!"

YUP, Flor and Reneboy didn't seems to "slay the dragon"... Poor little things...

And what are those merchandise that the show is selling to the public? Colouring books? Aparrel? Stationery? Eau de Cologne? C'mon! Be reasonable, people! Stay on the story, don't engage the kids on the so-called "child-oriented" plot of the show. (Talk about those MATURE RELATIONSHIPS and MILITARY CONTROVERSIES...)

In conclusion, I don't wanna have the show to be aired again... it's too heart-breaking.
